The BERGER GROUP is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of seat belts for cars and has its production facilities in Belgium, Spain, Germany and China.
Production includes all steps from weaving, fixation/dying and cutting. The belt webbing undergoes continuous checks throughout the entire production process in order to achieve the highest standard of quality and safety. Our products are used in all well-known vehicles, the majority of which are manufactured in Europe.

Who are we
looking for?
Every applicant should have a degree in Textile Technology and Engineering.
Requirements
You have a strong process awareness and ideally have technical and textile knowledge
Basic mechanical skills and knowledge
Knowledge of manmade fibres especially PET and an understanding of thermoplastic materials
Understanding of weaving technology and technical textiles
Knowledge of the textile surface finishing, application and dying process and understanding of textile chemistry
Basic knowledge of material testing for textile fabrics and yarn
Strong analytical skills and willingness to assume responsibility
Good written and spoken English skills
Job description
You will be responsible for technological and manufacturing aspects in the development of webbing manufacturing processes
You are responsible for the process evaluation/examination and the comparison of different process concepts
You optimise manufacturing processes for both existing processes and new departments in coordination with the plants and departments
